I just made the scones, I’m also dairy intolerant. So I used clarified butter (ghee) and coconut milk yogurt. They came out great.

These are excellent. I didn’t have any turbinado sugar and think it would be a nice addition next time for a little added sweetness and texture.

I’m thinking of making these with no berries and then using them as a base for strawberry shortcake. Is the texture going to be ok for that?
