I have been using this recipe for years and it has become my absolute favorite. The only problem is that it disappears very fast. So many variations are possible. Wonderful recipe.

This Hummus is the best! It’s so tasty and the texture is amazing! My family is very picky about Hummus and we cannot eat any store bought hummus. We usually get it from a small local Mediterranean store where the owner makes it himself from scratch. I’m very happy I found this recipe because it’s just as good and costs a fracture of what we pay there. We also love the Hummus at Alladin Cafe which you refer to!!

In reply to Ravi. Hi Ravi, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I do have a few different variations on the website. But it's highly adaptable to other mix-ins, such as olives, sun-dried tomatoes, or roasted red-peppers, too!

Fantastic recipe! Followed it to a “T” and it came out perfect! I also took your advice and added a little more salt to taste, along with more of the lemon juice. Wow! I will no longer be buying hummus from the store.
You can’t beat homemade and just knowing there’s nothing processed in your food is a plus! I’ve passed your recipe to my daughter and she can’t wait to try it!

Holy heavenly hummus! This is fantastic. I followed the recipe to a “T” and it turned out the best hummus I’ve ever had! I couldn’t stop eating it and I am supposed to be taking this to a picnic! It will be lucky if it survives my family! I doubled the recipe and my 11 cup Cuisinart was very full. I had beans leftover so I’ll be making another batch tomorrow. I ran out of tahini!

Followed the recipe as written and I could not be happier with the results. Perfect hummus flavor, and the creamiest texture I’ve had in any hummus anywhere. Cannot recommend highly enough!
