We LOVE these pancakes and sprinkles some mini semi-sweet chocolate chips on top of the pancakes when they’re in the griddle before we flip them. Such a treat – tiny morsels of chocolate with the hint of banana in the batter!

I found these took a long time to set up and therefore were hard not to burn. They do taste good. I’ll try one of Katie’s other pancake recipes next time.

Just made these and all three boys and my husband devoured them. We did do milk instead of water for a little extra nutrition and they were still great. Thank you for this quick healthy recipe! My 7 year old said banana oat pancakes need to be a regular thing now.

In reply to Isabel Gregório. Hi Isabel, I haven't tested with apple, and they have a much different water content so it would take some experimenting. I do have an apple pancake recipe if you want to try that!
