This is a very good salad! I forgot to add the goat cheese, but we didn’t miss it. I described the salad as “very bright” in the middle of winter — just what was needed on a cold, blustery night.

Hi, Kate. Love your recipes and the care you take in presenting them in a user-friendly manner. Your attention to detail is magnifico.

One suggestion is to add a QR code at the end of the recipe, making it easy for me to pull the recipe up on my phone. Just something I’ve seen in a few other sites.

I just happened to see this salad recipe while looking to see what recipes you have for fennel. Wow, what a burst of flavors! I happened to have some Yuzu citrus sheep’s milk cheese so I used it in place of the goat cheese. It was so delicious I had some leftovers for breakfast this morning!

Super tasty salad which paired well with our roasted duck. Followed recipe as noted. The dressing really melds the flavors together. It was a wonderful way to experiment with fennel.
