I also forgot to mention how super easy this recipe is. I was a little intimidated about making nut milk because of the mess with having to strain it and all, but I was surprised how fast and easy it is to make. No need to buy nut milk from the store again!

Before making this recipe, I found a forum to read about the shelf life of cashew milk, to see if I would end up wasting ingredients if I drank it too slowly. I was disappointed to learn that most people need to discard their cashew milk by day 3. Although I found this wasteful, I went ahead and made this recipe anyway. This recipe did not last 3 days. Heck it didn’t last 2 days. I GUZZLED THIS STUFF DOWN in 24 hours. Absolutely, perfectly delicious. I am making it again.

Made this tonight : ). I like the creamy texture and probably won’t change it! It reminded me of a vanilla milkshake which was perfect for drinking/sampling tonight. If I use it in recipes I might reduce vanilla a bit – 5 stars for me, thanks. Lisa

I wish I found this sooner. I’ve been making my own milks for years but never thought about cashews.

All the other milks make weird hot drinks… separation, porridgey, curdling etc.
