the drink was advertised as a new york sour. what i saw was a cinnamon maple something. what i would really like is the original drink recipe that was advertised

I needed to make for a crowd, so I cheated and made a big batch maple syrup, simple syrup (maple syrup, lemon and cinnamon with a dash of water as needed.) and just added the other ingredients per glass.
It was a hit! Thanks for the idea. I make a similar cocktail with whiskey and honey simple syrup.

I’ll be honest. I misread it the first time I made this and I put 3 tbsp of Maple syrup.
But it was delicious either way.
Maybe I just have a bit of a sweet tooth, but I liked it better with my three tablespoons instead of teaspoons of maple syrup still absolutely delicious recipe.
