I’m 73 and have been making this for years. I dont use a blender just whip with a whisk. Today I had a few blackberries so decided to make clafoutis.
I modified to be closer to recipe in my head. Turned out great.

I wanted a light summer dessert that was not too sweet for here in Australia. This one worked out beautifully. Very easy to prepare and my friends loved it. Will definitely make it again.

In reply to Sandy. Hi Sandy, the batter should be similar to crepes, or the consistency of my blender waffles. What size pan did you use? The thickness can impact the baking time.

Hi – when I made this, it turned out really runny so I ended up baking it for a little over an hour and a half. And, even then, it wasn’t quite flan like. I think I followed the directions perfectly. Do you have any idea what I could have done wrong. My family ended up eating it anyway because they thought it tasted great. So I’d like to make it again, but any thoughts would be really helpful. Sandy.
