I do like a good mojito. But, more often than not lately, my husband and I like swapping out the rum for tequila. Apparently, this is referred to as a “Mexican Mojito”. It’s very tasty as well. And for those of us who get their butts kicked by rum, tequila may be a little easier on the system. ;)

Reading your great Mojito recipe and wanted to share…. In Cuba we had Mojitos made with freshly harvested sugar cane-amazing- and also had them made with brown sugar and dark rum (brought one home with me!). That one is not as visually appealing but is yummy!

Wow! This one is a MUST-TRY! One tiny request. The last six months, I have been experimenting with growing different varieties of mint (spearmint and Mexican lime for this one) and peppers. I know there are sweet peppers to add a slight kick to this fabulous recipe. Can you recommend one, please?

Many nurseries carry Mojito Mint starts each Spring. I have had mine for three years now, planted in a 12″ pot and it has survived outdoors year round.
Nothing compares to the amazing flavor and scent of the true Mojito Mint!
