I have made this a couple times and love it so much! Last time I added a cup of english peas and a couple jalapenos for heat. I eat it as dip with fresh veggies.

In reply to Fauna. Hi Fauna, I prefer the texture with mayo, but others share they used part Greek yogurt and part mayo with good results.

Your receipes are marvelous. I especially appreciate that you don’t get stuck when a particular ingredient is hard to find or totally unavailable in this country and you provide doable subs. But I have one gripe: You rarely if ever mention whether something can be frozen or not. There are a lot of empty nesters, couples who have busy schedules that preclude cooking every night, single people of all ages who don’t bother to cook because trashing leftovers is wasteful and expensive, and eating a full receipe’s worth of food in the few days it last in frig is boring, and who want to be able to eat good food they have prepared themselves rather than more takeout/ lousy commercial frozen dinners. If you are not sure if a dish is freezeable, why not try it and tells. Thank you.

Insanely good. As usual, I was heavy handed with the garlic (and not a bit sorry). Kate is absolutely right in saying that it’s more than the sum of its parts. So easy to make, beautiful presentation…and lick your plate worthy (in private, of course). Thank you Kate!
