I was excited to make this pudding after reading the rave reviews. Since I didn’t have cashews, I swapped them for almonds as one commentor suggested. What a disappointment. It’s just not at all appetizing with its odd texture and weird flavor. I added some cocoa to it as a recommended topping, but it didn’t make any difference. Needless to say, this one is not a keeper for me.

This is the only version of Chia pudding that I like andone of my go to recipes that I’ll make as a prep for the week. I usually make a berry compote and layer the pudding on top in small cups so I can grab one to go in the morning during my busy week. I add hemp seeds and whatever nuts I have on hand. It’s such a treat to start the day and I love the health benefits.

Wow! This is absolutely delicious! I cannot believe how sweet and scrumptious this tastes with no sugar added besides the natural sweetness of the dates. Incredible.

wish i had a better blender so bit lumpy I used date syrup and cashew butter and some cacao which tastes great. always worried chia going to get down the drain when I clean up ….

Finally leaving a comment after years of making this. It makes such a creamy and delicious pudding, people are shocked when I tell them the ingredients. Most of the time I add cocoa powder to make chocolate pudding, and its delicious!
