I made this at Christmas..large batch and bought small jars and handed them out at Christmas to friends with small package of crackers. Huge hit and comments were it was a bonus to receive a healthy gift in the midst of all the candies and sweets they had received.

Made this not a quite as written – I didn’t have parsley, but had fresh Greek oregano off the bush in my yard, so used that. Also, hubs suggested adding feta cheese to this and it was fantastic. Thanks for a great, easily customizable recipe. I also scaled it back quite a bit as I was preparing for only two of us.

Made the other day and had to leave out the garlic for one of the friends, but it was still very tasty — added ground black pepper to make up for it. There were just 4 of us and we all loved it. I sent the other couple this recipe, and keeping it handy for myself! by the way, I like Castelvetranos and my husband likes kalamatas — so this was even more perfect!

Thank you for this recipe! It’s hard to fine olive tapenade in my local stores,. unless it’s already been added to hummus. While I personally love that combination, one of my kids hates olives with a passion, so I never buy the hummus with topped with tapenade. Now that I have an easy recipe to use, I can make my own and and use it for more than just a hummus topper!

Just made this again for our Christmas hor d’oeuvres party. It is so delicious every time that I have to keep myself from eating it all before the guests arrive. Awesome recipe!
