I added half an onion – roasted it with the eggplants. I also put it all on the food processor and it came out perfect!

I Love your book! Didn’t realize this was your recipe but just as I’m making this Baba ganoush a second time, I’m not surprised because every dish from the book I made was amazing and so delicious and rich. Love real food!

This is a great recipe I actually found roasted eggplant in a jar at a specialty store. Nice shortcut it smelled pretty smokey so I skipped the smoked paprika.

Love this recipe, it’s the one I always come back to! So easy and flavourful. I add a small dash of liquid smoke to add a bit of the grill flavour, but it’s just perfect with or without.

Can this be frozen? I’ve made your baba ganoush recipe and love it! Having a garden, I’ve grown a number of Japanese eggplants & I’d love to make a large batch to freeze in smaller portions.

Unbelievably delicious!! I had a bunch of eggplant from the garden. I made enough ratatouille (recipe also from you) to last quite some time, but didn’t know what else to make until seeing this recipe. Make this!! I doubt I will ever buy Baba Ganoush ever again!! Epic is right!!

I grew a bunch of Japanese eggplants and chose your recipe to use them up. It was a bit tricky because the recipe doesn’t say how much eggplant, once roasted and removed from skin, is needed, but I guessed and it was great! I appreciate that you just gave the key ingredients to use. Thanks.
