However a significant improvement is tearing the tofu, rather than cutting it.

It gives the tofu a lot more craggily exterior, which makes it even more crispy.

Delicious and crispy! I added it to an Indian vegetable stir-fry and the tofu bites stood out even smothered in the Indian curry sauce. Served it on udon noodles.
