This is a phenomenal salad, I would marry it if I were single . I do recommend adding toasted pine nuts, it enhances the flavors and adds a unique texture. This is the perfect side for just about any dish!

Hi Kate, in the section labeled “how to Make Lemony Kale Salad,” there’s a heading that says, “Watch How to Make Kale Salad.” Underneath that is a large photo that doesn’t play when you click it. I’d love to see how to massage kale – can you make the video linked again?

Made this to accompany a fondue spread, and it was the perfect side to offset the heaviness of all the cheese. Delightful, healthful, and enjoyed by all! The texture of the kale, as a result of the slicing technique and massaging, really ends up being perfect. I doubled the recipe but still only used one tbsp of fresh lemon juice and found it to be an appropriate amount.
