My family enjoyed this pie and my toddler even ate a second pecan! This is a unique take on a classic pie, and personally, it took me a few bites to get used to the unique texture compared with a store-bought pecan pie, but it grew on me. My biggest complaint is that it doesn’t last long at all! I wonder if there is a good way to increase the volume of the filling.

Excellent – a ‘healthier’ pie which actually loses nothing for that. Used to buy one from a well known store until it was discontinued and this is better than theirs. Followed your recipe precisely and the pie received very positive comments.

I’ve used my mothers Karo syrup pecan pie recipe forever. A must have at holiday meals for my husband, son, and daughter. This recipe is so much better! Perfect sweetness. Even my mom would agree and make the switch.

I remade the pie. The first one cooked quickly so it overcooked a bit. I kept checking the pie for firmness before the 40 minutes. Haven’t tried it yet as will be freezing it. It did take a lot of syrup but that is the recipe I followed. I will repost after resting a piece!

This was hands down the most abhorrent pecan pie I have ever tasted. The other reviewers claiming an eggy taste is true, it is a spongy awful texture. The only thing that was edible on this pie was the toasted pecans on top of it!
