I’ve made homemade pesto several times in the past from recipe sources that I trust, but for some reason the results have been underwhelming. This, on the other hand, turned out GREAT. I found the flavors and textures to all be in balance, and the ratio of pesto to pasta was perfect (might sound like a basic thing, but sometimes I can’t seem to get it right). I’m going to see if I have enough late-season basil hanging on to make another batch!

Love the pesto sauce, although it is quite oily, and next time I will add more lemon juice, but very tasty over all! I will definitely make it again!
