This is called a “perro salado” in Mexico . In other words salted dog. Here in the states it is a completely different drink.

In reply to John R.. Arette is amazing and a house goto, for sure! While I’m not a fan, Olmeca Altos is also very well made and additive free. Tends to be pretty cheap, too.

In reply to bbum. Great choices of tequilas! I would also recommend cheaper options that are still additive free and tastes great. Cimarron and Arette are great tequilas for cocktails.
