I agree with this. I found it extremely salty. I omitted the salt in the next batch and it was great!

Will the texture be affected if I leave out the maple syrup? (I have a taste disorder which makes anything sweet taste like chemicals; it’s a curse!)

We’re having a heat wave in PA. I’m making what I call your “soba slaw” for dinner. Will throw on some shrimp or maybe grilled chicken if I get ambitious.

This is my go-to muesli recipe! I use it as a base to iterate upon. Generally, I use half the salt, and I use diamond crystal rather than morton’s salt. For my muesli, I use 4 cups oats + 4 cups mix-ins, like: pumpkin seeds, pecans, sliced almonds, sunflower seeds, cashews, hazelnuts — pretty much whatever I have in my pantry! I also add 1/4 cup ground flax seeds. Last time, I added lemon zest, too. Really tasty!

I have been making this muesli recipe consistently for two years now. I absolutely love the simplicity, taste, and versatility.
