Excellent and easy! Followed directions exactly – definitely best right after assembly. We had leftovers the next day but the vinegar seems stronger and nuts not crisp.

I made this salad for the Fourth of July. It was delicious and so pretty on the platter. Will definitely be making it again!

This was fabulous and so easy. It literally took 10 minutes to make and it looked like a work of art. Everyone at the party loved it. (Also, my watermelon wasn’t even a super sweet one and the salad was still delicious.) Thanks for a great recipe, Kate!

I have made a watermelon feta salad several times and thought i would give this a try with the added ingredients. The pistachios add a nice touch but my family was not fond of the addition of the pickled shallots and vinegar. We didnt think it paired well with the watermelon. I’ll be back to my old recipe but with the addition of the pitachios for a nice crunch.

Love this salad. Made it tonight with local watermelon and mint from my garden. We are in the south so I used pecans and toasted them in an iron skillet. I didn’t have pistachios handy.

Hi Kate! This salad sounds fantastic, but no watermelon around (I live in France, where we mostly get cantaloupes, the « Charentais » dark orange kind, you know?). Do you think I could use this French melon?
